Job summary

Anlage Digital is seeking a Senior Workday Payroll Support Consultant for Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Noida. Immediate start. 6-10+ years in HRIS/payroll with Hands-on Workday Payroll support. You will provide Level 2/3 support and manage payroll configurations and integrations.

Responsibilities include resolving payroll issues, ensuring regulatory compliance, performing reconciliations, and supporting audits. Office-based role with 5-day workweeks in core locations.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years of HRIS, Payroll Systems, or Payroll Operations experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll support experience.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Workday Payroll and related modules.
• Investigate and resolve payroll processing issues, calculation discrepancies, integration failures, and data quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Manage support tickets, service requests, and incidents in accordance with SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Support payroll processing activities including calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Ensure payroll configurations align with business policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support payroll period-end activities, balancing, reconciliation, and audits.
• Assist payroll teams with payroll validation and payroll sign-off activities.
• Configure and maintain payroll elements, earning codes, deduction plans, and payroll schedules.
• Support payroll integrations between Workday and third-party systems.

Position Overview: Senior Workday Payroll Support Consultant

Experience: 6 - 10+ Years

Must Have Skills:

Workday Payroll Certification

• 6-10+ years of HRIS, Payroll Systems, or Payroll Operations experience and 4+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll support experience.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Workday Payroll and related modules.
• Investigate and resolve payroll processing issues, calculation discrepancies, integration failures, and data quality concerns.
• Manage support tickets, service requests, and incidents in accordance with established SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective and preventive solutions.
• Support payroll processing activities including payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Ensure payroll configurations align with business policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support payroll period-end activities, payroll balancing, reconciliation, and audit processes.
• Assist payroll teams with payroll validation and payroll sign-off activities.
• Configure and maintain payroll elements, earning codes, deduction plans, payroll calculations, costing allocations, payroll schedules, and payroll business processes.
• Support implementation of payroll changes resulting from organizational, legislative, or business requirements.
• Maintain payroll-related security roles and access controls.
• Ensure payroll processes comply with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements and Support internal and external payroll audits.
• Support payroll-related integrations between Workday and third-party systems, including: Time and Attendance Systems, Benefits Providers, Finance and ERP Systems, Banking Interfaces and Tax and Regulatory Agencies
• Coordinate troubleshooting of inbound and outbound payroll integrations and Perform data validation, reconciliation, and error resolution activities.
• Develop and maintain payroll reports, dashboards, and audit controls using Workday reporting tools.
• Support payroll reconciliation, compliance reporting, statutory reporting, and management reporting requirements.
• Assess Workday bi-annual releases for payroll impacts.
• Lead payroll testing activities, including: Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT. Document test results and coordinate issue resolution activities.
• Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, Benefits, Time Tracking, and IT teams to support business operations.
• Workday Payroll Expertise in Workday Payroll, Payroll Processing and Administration, Payroll Configuration, Payroll Calculations, Payroll Costing, Retro Payroll Processing, Payroll Auditing and Reconciliation and Payroll Security
• Experience supporting multiple country payrolls and global payroll operations and Knowledge of payroll integrations and third-party payroll providers.
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics and People Analytics.
• Understanding of payroll tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to work from the office 5 days a week.
• Must be able to work from Bengaluru, Noida, or Hyderabad.
• Flexibility to support business-critical activities, including financial close cycles, production deployments, and system upgrades outside regular business hours when required.
