Job summary

Greencell Mobility is seeking an experienced Payroll Professional to manage end-to-end payroll across multiple entities in India. The role requires strong SAP Payroll hands-on expertise, in-depth knowledge of TDS and statutory compliance, and the ability to handle payroll accounting, audits, and settlements.

The successful candidate will coordinate with Finance, HR and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing, robust controls, and adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1015 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Hands-on SAP Payroll experience is essential.
• Experience managing payroll for multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of Indian payroll statutory compliance and TDS.
• Complete payroll lifecycle ownership with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities.
• Configure, validate, and report SAP Payroll related data.
• Ensure timely monthly payroll, arrears, revisions, bonuses, deductions, and settlements.
• Handle payroll across entities with statutory obligations.
• Oversee TDS computation, tax declarations, Form 16 and Form 24Q.
• Ensure PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance for payroll accounting and reconciliations.
• Manage payroll audits and respond to audit queries.
• Ensure timely statutory returns and challans.
• Maintain payroll controls, maker-checker and validation.
• Resolve employee payroll queries and liaise with HR/IT/vendors.
• Drive payroll process improvements and automation.

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Professional with 1015 years of strong, hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll management, preferably with extensive exposure to SAP Payroll. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of TDS, statutory compliance, multiple-entity payroll processing, payroll accounting, and audits.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities and large employee populations.
• Handle SAP Payroll configuration, processing, validation, and payroll-related reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, arrears, revisions, incentives, bonuses, deductions, and full & final settlements.
• Manage payroll across multiple entities, ensuring entity-wise payroll requirements, controls, and statutory obligations are met.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of TDS computation, tax declarations, tax projections, Form 16, Form 24Q, and income-tax compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, including PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus, and other applicable labour/payroll regulations.
• Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for payroll accounting, provisions, reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll-related payments.
• Manage payroll audits, statutory audits, internal audits, and respond to audit queries.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory returns and challans.
• Review payroll inputs and ensure robust maker-checker and payroll validation controls.
• Handle employee payroll queries related to salary, tax, deductions, statutory benefits, and F&F.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, IT, and external payroll vendors for smooth payroll operations.
• Drive payroll process improvements, automation, controls, and compliance across entities.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of employee payroll and compensation data.
