You will drive process improvements, automation, and stakeholder guidance while ensuring accurate salary disbursements and timely reporting within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end payroll processing in SAP HCM.
• Proficiency in payroll reconciliation and accuracy checks.
• Strong knowledge of PF/ESIC/PT/TDS compliance and labour regulations.
• Ability to manage pre/post payroll validations and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing in SAP Payroll.
• Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
• Process payroll corrections, arrears, and retroactive adjustments.
• Perform pre-payroll and post-payroll validation checks.
• Reconcile payroll outputs with approved inputs.
• Validate payroll accounting entries and HR-to-FI integration.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll closing activities.
• Review and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, and reclassifications.
• Monitor GL balances and investigate variances.
• Handle payroll accounting reconciliations and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with PF/ESIC, Income Tax (TDS) and wage regulations.
• Support statutory audits and compliance reporting.

We are looking for dynamic Payroll Professional to join Tata Consultancy Services (Talent Operations) in Pune and play a critical role in managing end-to-end Payroll Operations for a large workforce.

Payroll Operations

• Execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing in SAP Payroll.
• Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
• Process payroll corrections, arrears, and retroactive adjustments.
• Perform pre-payroll and post-payroll validation checks.
• Reconcile payroll outputs with approved inputs.

Payroll Accounting & Reconciliation

• Validate payroll accounting entries and HR-to-FI integration.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll closing activities.
• Review and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, and reclassifications.
• Monitor GL balances and investigate variances.
• Handle payroll accounting reconciliations and reporting.

Compliance & Statutory

• Ensure compliance with:
• Provident Fund (PF) / ESIC
• Income Tax (TDS)
• Labour laws and wage regulations
• Support statutory audits and compliance reporting.
• Verify tax, statutory and benefit deductions.

Process Excellence

• Drive payroll automation and standardization initiatives.
• Participate in SAP Payroll enhancement projects.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage stakeholder queries and provide payroll guidance to employees.
