Job summary

ZingHR is seeking a Payroll Processor to manage accurate and timely payroll processing for clients in Mumbai, ensuring compliance with Indian payroll regulations and SLA requirements.

The role involves processing monthly payroll, handling tax computations, and ensuring compliance with statutory contributions, while coordinating with clients and internal teams. Freshers with strong Excel skills and good communication may also apply.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of Indian Payroll & Statutory Compliance.
• Knowledge of TDS, Income Tax and eTDS filing is an advantage.
• Payroll processing experience is preferred; freshers with strong Excel skills and good communication may also apply.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll including salary changes, increments, variable pay, LOP, deductions, F&F, etc.
• Handle Income Tax/TDS computation and related payroll activities.
• Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus and Leave Encashment.
• Support salary structuring, payroll change management and statutory processes.
• Follow defined processes, SLAs and ensure accurate system-based payroll processing.

Preferred: Prior experience in Indian/foreign payroll processing and knowledge of perks & taxation.
