• Manage income tax declarations, investments, TDS, and Form 16 generation.
• Draft replies to statutory notices and liaise with legal authorities.
• Ensure compliance with central and state labor laws and maintain registers.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Payroll & Compliance Specialist with 8+ years of core experience to independently manage end-to-end payroll operations for a workforce of 7,000+ employees. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Indian statutory compliances, taxation, and labor laws, with a proven track record of successfully handling statutory notices and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Payroll Management: Independently process and manage monthly payroll cycles for 7,000+ headcount, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Statutory Compliance: Oversee monthly calculations, deductions, and timely filing of returns for PF, ESIC, Professional Tax (PTAX), and Labor Welfare Fund (LWF).
• Income Tax & TDS: Handle employee income tax declarations, investment verifications, TDS deductions, and the generation of Form 16.
• Grievance & Notice Management: Act as the primary point of contact for legal and statutory authorities. Independently manage, draft replies to, and resolve statutory notices related to PF, ESIC, and labor compliances.
• Labor Law Adherence: Ensure the organization is fully compliant with central and PAN India state labor laws, maintaining all necessary registers and abstracts.
• Vendor Management: Work seamlessly with payroll vendors.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, strong command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas), and a proactive approach to handling government compliance audits.
