The role demands hands-on work with REST/SOAP APIs, MQ/Kafka interfaces, ISO 20022, and close collaboration with business and platform teams to drive solution architecture and timely sign-offs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience, with core banking transformation programs.
• Hands-on Finastra GPP implementation/integration experience.
• Experience with RTGS, SWIFT, cross-border payments, and ISO 20022 messaging.
• Experience creating Interface Specification Documents (ISDs) and obtaining sign-off.
• Ability to independently drive solutioning and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Payments - Design integrations for RTGS, SWIFT, Cards, and real-time payment systems
• GL Integration - Ensure accurate accounting entries, reconciliation, and financial postings
• API & Interfaces - Define REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, Kafka, and file integrations
• Data Mapping - Develop source-to-target mapping and transformation logic
• Middleware - Coordinate ESB, API Gateway, and iPaaS integration layers
• Security - Ensure OAuth2, SSL, and compliance with payment regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Payments - Design integrations for RTGS, SWIFT, Cards, and real-time payment systems
• GL Integration - Ensure accurate accounting entries, reconciliation, and financial postings
• API & Interfaces - Define REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, Kafka, and file integrations
• Data Mapping - Develop source-to-target mapping and transformation logic
• Middleware - Coordinate ESB, API Gateway, and iPaaS integration layers
• Security - Ensure OAuth2, SSL, and compliance with payment regulations

Key Requirements:

• Hands-on Finastra GPP implementation/integration experience within a core banking transformation program.
• Strong functional/technical knowledge of RTGS, SWIFT, cross-border payments, and ISO 20022 messaging.
• Experience integrating payments platforms via REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, and file-based interfaces, with JSON/XML data formats.
• Experience preparing Interface Specification Documents (ISDs) for payments integrations and obtaining stakeholder/vendor sign-off.
• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial hands-on experience in core banking transformation/implementation programs.
• Proven experience working as an individual contributor who can independently drive solutioning, documentation, and approvals, this is a hands-on role, not a purely supervisory one.
• Strong stakeholder management skills; able to work with business teams, interface/platform teams, and Solution Architecture teams.
• Experience preparing and obtaining sign-off on Interface Specification Documents (ISDs) and integration design artifacts.
• Working knowledge of integration technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, MQ/Kafka, and file-based interfaces.
