We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst (Functional) - Payments to join our Global Banking and Payments team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cross-border payments, SWIFT messaging, ISO 20022 (MX migration), and end‑to‑end payment processing. In this role, you will work closely with global stakeholders, business users, and technology teams to drive large‑scale payment transformation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, business analysis, functional documentation, process improvement, and ensuring successful implementation of payment solutions across global banking environments. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who have worked on complex payment transformation programs and possess strong domain knowledge in payment systems, clearing & settlement, and MT/MX message standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for payment transformation projects.
• Work extensively on cross‑border payment systems and end‑to‑end payment flows.
• Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), business process documents, and gap analysis reports.
• Collaborate with business, operations, compliance, and technology teams to deliver payment solutions.
• Support ISO 20022 / MX migration initiatives and SWIFT messaging transformations.
• Analyze MT/MX messages and ensure alignment with payment standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize payment operations and customer experience.
• Coordinate with global stakeholders across different geographies and manage communication effectively.
• Support UAT, implementation, and post‑production activities during project delivery.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders across global geographies.
• Global Banking experience is mandatory. Candidates with only Indian Banking experience will not be considered.
