Experience:Minimum 1015years in garment pattern making (export-oriented unit preferred).

Proficiency in manual pattern making; CAD software knowledgeRichpeaceis an advantage.

Job Purpose:

To create accurate garment patterns based on design specifications, ensuring proper fit, construction, and production feasibility while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pattern Development
• Develop first patterns from design sketches, tech packs, or samples.
• Ensure patterns meet size, fit, and garment construction requirements.
• Make pattern adjustments for different size ranges (grading).Sampling & Fitting
• Work closely with sampling and design teams during garment prototyping.
• Conduct fittings with models and modify patterns based on feedback.
• Ensure patterns are production-friendly to minimize wastage and improve efficiency.
• Technical Specifications
• Prepare detailed cutting and sewing instructions for the production team.
• Maintain technical accuracy for seam allowances, grain lines, notches, and markers.
• Coordination
• Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams for timely approvals.
• Communicate clearly with tailors and operators regarding construction techniques.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure patterns meet buyer specifications and quality requirements.
• Keep track of approved patterns and maintain an organized pattern library.
