Job summary

Fashionc Overseas Exports in Noida is seeking a Pattern Master to create accurate garment patterns from design specifications, ensuring proper fit, construction, and production feasibility.

You will lead pattern development, support sampling and fittings, prepare cutting instructions, and maintain a pattern library while coordinating with designers and production teams to meet buyer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Pattern Development
• Develop first patterns from design sketches, tech packs, or samples.
• Ensure patterns meet size, fit, and garment construction requirements.
• Make pattern adjustments for different size ranges (grading).
• Sampling & Fitting
• Work closely with sampling and design teams during garment prototyping.
• Conduct fittings with models and modify patterns based on feedback.
• Ensure patterns are production-friendly to minimize wastage and improve efficiency.
• Technical Specifications
• Prepare detailed cutting and sewing instructions for the production team.
• Maintain technical accuracy for seam allowances, grain lines, notches, and markers.
• Coordination
• Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and production teams for timely approvals.
• Communicate clearly with tailors and operators regarding construction techniques.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure patterns meet buyer specifications and quality requirements.
• Keep track of approved patterns and maintain an organized pattern library.
