Job summary

Kotecha Steel Forge And Cast Industries in Rajkot, India seeks a pattern design engineer to design and develop patterns and core boxes as per casting drawings. You will handle pattern design and casting simulation for CI/SG iron castings and ensure accuracy and timely availability for production.

Candidates should modify, repair and maintain existing patterns and tooling, identify pattern-related defects and coordinate with Design, Foundry, Production and Quality teams to uphold quality

Qualifications

• Experience designing patterns and core boxes for CI/SG Iron castings.
• Ability to apply shrinkage, machining allowance, draft and core provisions.

• Design and develop patterns and core boxes as per casting drawings.
• Handle pattern design and casting simulation for CI / SG Iron castings.
