Job summary

SAPA Bakery, a unit of Kaffeeklatsch Foods Private Limited, is growing our pastry team in Mysore. We are looking for a skilled Commi 1 - Pastry to support the creation of cakes, desserts, and baked goods in our Gokulam kitchen.

As a Commi 1, you will work under senior chefs to ensure quality, consistency, and creativity while maintaining high standards and food safety in a busy bakery environment. Prior pastry kitchen experience is preferred, and a passion for pastry is essential.

SAPA Bakery, a unit of Kaffeeklatsch Foods Private Limited, is growing our team! We are looking for skilled and passionate Commi 1 - Pastry chefs to join us at our Gokulam location in Mysore.

About the Role:

As a Commi 1 in the Pastry department, you will support the creation of high-quality cakes, desserts, viennoiseries, and baked goods while maintaining consistency, precision, and creativity. This role is ideal for individuals with strong pastry fundamentals who want to further develop their skills in a professional bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and finishing of cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts according to recipes and standards
• Ensure and maintain consistency in quality and presentation
• Coordinate with senior chefs (DCDP/CDP) to execute daily production requirements
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the pastry kitchen
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Support the team with inventory, storage, and daily operational tasks

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience in a professional pastry kitchen or bakery, ideally as Commi 1 or Commi 2
• Strong knowledge of pastry basics, baking techniques, and finishing skills
• Passion for pastry, attention to detail, and dedication to high standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
• Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
