Job summary

Expleo in India is seeking a Mechanical/Automotive engineer with 3-5 years of experience to design and develop engine parts, and to convert gasoline engines to bifuel CNG systems. You will prepare RFQs, review technical proposals, and analyze engine systems for CNG conversion to optimize bifuel performance.

Apply knowledge of materials and fuel properties to ensure robust mono/bifuel solutions, while engaging in ANPQP and risk mitigation activities with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with knowledge of automobile parts.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience (CNG System preferred).
• Experience in designing engine parts and conversions to bifuel CNG.
• Familiarity with ANPQP procedures for first industrialization.

PRIMARY SKILLS:

• Convert monofuel (gasoline) engines to bifuel (gasoline + CNG).
• Prepare RFQs and review technical proposals for CNG-specific parts.

Secondary skill

1. Understand tuning, performance, and electrical systems at vehicle level and their influence on part design.

2. Conduct technical meetings with stakeholders to converge proposals into design outputs.

3. Initiate and manage ANPQP procedures for first industrialization.

4. Apply FTA, risk analysis, and mitigation planning at part/system level.

5. Present clear technical proposals with supporting data to management.
