Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking a mechanical engineer to design and develop engine parts and lead CNG conversion initiatives. The role involves preparing RFQs, reviewing proposals, and analyzing IC engines for bifuel compatibility. Strong knowledge of materials and fuel properties is required to optimize mono/bifuel solutions.

This position emphasizes collaboration, meeting deadlines, and delivering data-driven proposals to management within a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with knowledge of automobile parts.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, CNG system preferred.
• Ability to work with deadlines and without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engine parts per guidelines and standards.
• Convert monofuel engines to bifuel (gasoline + CNG) systems.
• Prepare RFQs and review technical proposals for CNG-specific parts.
• Analyze IC engine systems for CNG conversion and recommend bifuel compatibility approaches.
• Apply knowledge of materials and fuel properties to engine performance for mono/bifuel solutions.

Responsibilities

3-5 years of relevant experience (CNG System preferred)

Primary Skills

• Design and develop engine parts per guidelines.
• Convert monofuel (gasoline) engines to bifuel (gasoline + CNG).
• Prepare RFQs and review technical proposals for CNG-specific parts.
• Analyze IC engine systems for CNG conversion and recommend OCT for bifuel compatibility.
• Apply knowledge of materials, fuel properties, and their impact on engine performance for mono/bifuel solutions.

Secondary skill

• Understand tuning, performance, and electrical systems at vehicle level and their influence on part design.
• Conduct technical meetings with stakeholders to converge proposals into design outputs.
• Initiate and manage ANPQP procedures for first industrialization.
• Apply FTA, risk analysis, and mitigation planning at part/system level.
• Present clear technical proposals with supporting data to management.
