Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a Paint Process Manager for our Thiruvallur plant to lead painting operations for automotive and industrial coatings. You will oversee paint application processes, optimize methods (spray, dip, etc.), and ensure equipment reliability while targeting safety, quality and cost goals.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong knowledge of paint chemistry, lean manufacturing, risk management, and quality tools.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in paint application processes, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or industrial coatings.
• Strong knowledge of paint chemistry, application methods (spray, dip, etc.), and equipment.
• Experience with automated painting systems, robotic painting, and CAD software for designing painting processes is a plus.
• Strong background in lean manufacturing, risk management, and quality tools.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, TS16949, or similar certifications.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications.
