Job summary

RGBSI in India is seeking a Paint Process Manager to drive optimization of painting processes at the Thiruvallur-Plant. The role requires 8+ years of experience in paint application, with hands-on knowledge of spray and dip methods, and familiarity with automated and robotic painting systems.

You will lead cross-functional teams, apply lean manufacturing and risk-management practices, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/TS16949 standards while delivering high-quality coatings projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in paint application processes, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or industrial coatings.
• Strong knowledge of paint chemistry, application methods (spray, dip, etc.), and equipment.
• Experience with automated painting systems, robotic painting, and CAD software for designing painting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to optimize paint processes and reduce waste.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and quality improvements.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards such as ISO 9001, TS16949 or similar.

• Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications.
