Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Packaging Technologist - NPD (New Product Development). The Packaging Technologist will be responsible for designing innovative packaging solutions, collaborating with the Research and Development team to understand product specifications, and driving packaging projects for food and beverage products. The role includes optimizing packaging processes, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and implementing industry best practices for packaging sustainability.

• Should be able to manage vendors, which includes coordinating with vendors, maintain quality standards at vendors place and should be flexible to travel.
• Design new concepts for development of new products and maintain technical compatibility to develop concepts into real products.
• Should understand basic commercial terms in the market.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Packaging, Procurement and Manufacturing for newly launched products for smooth supply.
• Skillfully get the information from the market and perform market research to understand market requirements and initiate innovative product development.
• Flexible to travel station and stay at vendors location if needed.
• Administration of implementing and maintaining ISO documentation as related to NPD Process.
• Will need to evaluate sales trend for the new products and suggest corrective action where required.
