Responsibilities

• Monitor daily packaging activities and allocate tasks to meet targets.
• Verify labeling, batch numbers, dates, coding, sealing and overall packaging quality.
• Monitor packaging material issuance, consumption, wastage, rejection and reconciliation.
• Supervise operators and shifts; manage team performance.
• Track productivity and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping and workplace compliance.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse and Maintenance for smooth operations.
• Report production performance and issues to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Supervision: Monitor daily packaging activities, allocate tasks, manage workflows, and ensure production targets are achieved.
• In-Process Checks: Verify labeling, batch numbers, manufacturing and expiry dates, coding, sealing, and overall packaging quality.
• Material Reconciliation: Monitor packaging material issuance, consumption, wastage, rejection, returns, and reconciliation.
• Team Management: Supervise operators and helpers, manage shift activities,
• Performance Monitoring: Track productivity, minimize material wastage, resolve operational issues, and support continuous improvement.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain shop-floor discipline, cleanliness, and compliance with workplace safety requirements.
• Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Reporting & Communication: Report production performance, deviations, equipment issues, and operational concerns to the Production Manager.
