Qualifications

• Post-graduate with IIP, SIES, or CIPET packaging diploma is required.
• Knowledge of flexible and rigid packaging materials is essential.
• Experience in designing and developing packaging for creams, lotions, household and foods is preferred.
• Willing to travel for trials if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of packaging functions including development, design, troubleshooting, procurement, and coordination.
• Understand materials such as flexible, rigid, laminates, bottles, caps, tubes, and CFB.
• Develop artwork and coordinate its approval and proofreading during printing.
• Possess knowledge of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.
• Prepare specifications for final packaging materials and release for procurement.
• Prepare technical specifications for procurement and factory assessment.
• Develop new and alternate vendors for cost-effective packaging options.
• Conduct trials for new product development like new bags, pouches and laminates with new structures and designs.
• Test films such as PET, BOPP, CPP, PE including natural, metallized, pearlized & white.
• Assist in internal & external audits, documentations and implementation; monitor technical data.

Location: Kurla West, Mumbai (Phoenix Market City)

Education and Experience required:

• Post-graduate with IIP, SIES, or CIPET packaging diploma with ~4 yrs exp in FMCG industry added advantage if foods industry too.
• Knowledge of flexible and rigids
• Designing and development of compatible packaging for creams, lotions, household, foods
• Willing to travel for trials if any

Job Responsibilities:

• Should have ability to manage all aspects of packaging functions like development, designing, troubleshooting, procurement, designing
• In depth understanding of different types of material like flexible, rigid, laminates, bottles, caps, tubes and CFB
• Artwork development and coordination its approval and proof reading at the printing
• Good knowledge of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging
• To prepare specifications for the final packaging designed material and release them for procurement
• Prepare technical specifications for procurement and factory assessment
• New and alternate vendor development for better or cost saving packaging options
• Trial for new product development like new Bag, Pouch and laminates with New structure and design.
• Testing of various films such like PET, BOPP, CPP, PE, (Natural, metallized, Pearlized & white)
• Internal & External Audit, Documentations & its implementation. Online inspection of technical data and monitoring.
• Efficient knowledge of Oracle System and Computer applications.
