Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru is seeking a SPP&ID Administrator to support engineering design and project execution. You will manage the SmartPlant P&ID environment, ensure system availability and data integrity, and work with engineering, IT, and design teams to optimize workflows.

Key responsibilities include developing 3D models using AVEVA E3D, generating isometrics and drawings, performing clash detection, and maintaining documentation to company standards across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of mechanical design experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG, or Energy sectors.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Experience with SPP&ID and E3D.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D models of piping, structural, and equipment layouts using AVEVA E3D.
• Generate detailed drawings including isometrics, general arrangements, and support details.
• Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts within the model.
• Support design reviews and provide updates to project stakeholders.
• Maintain drawing and model documentation in accordance with project and company standards.

Job Summary

The SPP&ID Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the SmartPlant P&ID (SPP&ID) environment used for engineering design and project execution. The role ensures system availability, data integrity, user support, standards compliance, and seamless integration with other engineering applications across multiple projects. The administrator works closely with engineering, IT, project management, and design teams to optimize engineering workflows, manage databases, troubleshoot system issues, and support digital engineering initiatives.
