Job summary

Purview Services seeks an experienced Oracle Transportation Management consultant to lead requirements, configure modules, and drive integrations across ERP and WMS ecosystems. You will design efficient transportation processes, set up master data, and support go-live activities with SIT/UAT cycles.

The role demands 5–10 years in OTM, strong documentation and stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with multi-modal transportation operations (FTL/LTL/parcel/ocean/air).

Qualifications

• 5-10 years hands-on functional experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) – Cloud or On-Prem.
• Experience in configuring OTM entities: agents & automation; rate and tariff setups; planning constraints and parameters; service providers, calendars & resources.
• Strong understanding of OTM functional areas: Transportation Planning, Execution & Tracking, Rate & Contract Management, Carrier Integration, Freight Payment & Billing.
• Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FDD, SOP, test scripts).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering sessions with business users and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
• Configure and implement OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Planning & Optimization, Rate Management, Carrier Management, Freight Settlement & Billing, Shipment Execution.
• Define and set up OTM master data, planning parameters, rate structures, agents, and workflows.
• Design transportation processes aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
• Support integration between OTM and ERP systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, WMS, 3PL systems).
• Coordinate with development and technical teams for integration, reporting, and customization requirements.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), test cases, and training materials.
• Drive SIT, UAT cycles and support go-live & post-production activities.
• Provide ongoing functional support, troubleshooting, and process improvements for OTM users.
• Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and IT teams to optimize transportation operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Oracle OTM / SCM certification is a plus.
