Job summary

Purview Services in Gurugram seeks an experienced Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) consultant to lead requirements, configure modules, and drive successful implementations across cloud or on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes strong domain knowledge in transportation management, hands-on module configuration, and collaboration with ERP, WMS, and 3PL systems to optimize global logistics processes. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Oracle OTM / SCM certification is a plus.
• 5-10 years of hands-on functional experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)– Cloud or On-Prem.
• Strong understanding of OTM functional areas: Transportation Planning, Execution & Tracking, Rate & Contract Management, Carrier Integration, Freight Payment & Billing.
• Experience configuring OTM entities: Agents & Automation, Rate and tariff setups, Planning constraints and parameters, Service providers, calendars & resources.
• Hands-on experience in transportation processes across modes (FTL, LTL, parcel, ocean, air).
• Ability to interpret and analyze transportation data using SQL (preferred).
• Strong documentation skills (BRD, FDD, SOP, test scripts).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering sessions with business users and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
• Configure and implement OTM modules including: Order Management, Shipment Planning & Optimization, Rate Management, Carrier Management, Freight Settlement & Billing, Shipment Execution.
• Define and set up OTM master data, planning parameters, rate structures, agents, and workflows.
• Design transportation processes aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
• Support integration between OTM and ERP systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, WMS, 3PL systems).
• Coordinate with development and technical teams for integration, reporting, and customization requirements.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), test cases, and training materials.
• Drive SIT, UAT cycles and support go-live & post-production activities.
• Provide ongoing functional support, troubleshooting, and process improvements for OTM users.
• Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and IT teams to optimize transportation operations.
