Job summary

Abbott India Limited, headquartered in Mumbai, seeks an experienced Azure/cloud/DevOps professional to implement, configure and tune services including microservices, AKS, Function Apps, IoT Hub and API management. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, on-call support, and health monitoring for production environments.

Strong HA, security remediation, and database knowledge (Oracle, Postgres) are required, with the ability to mentor junior staff and communicate with customers and partners at all

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure cloud services including AKS, Function Apps, IoT Hub, APIM, Key Vault and related components.
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket and JFrog Artifactory.
• Configuration management with Chef; enterprise apps like JBoss and IBM MQ.
• Support for development and production environments; on-call and health monitoring.
• Understanding of HA, load balancing, fault tolerance, resiliency and DR.
• Knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of OS and networking fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication; ability to mentor juniors.
• Ability to interact with customers, vendors and staff at senior levels.

Job description

• Experiencewith Microsoft Azure Cloud platform such as implementing, configuring, andtuning services involving Microservices, Azure Kubernetes Cluster,Function apps, IOT HUB, APIM, Key Vault, F5 Load Balancers, Azure Expressroute etc
• Experience with build and deployment process involving CI/CD, Bit bucket,Jfrog Artifactory, Jenkins etc
• Experience in configuration management tools such as Chef Experience injava, middleware applications operations and administration. This includesinstall, configure, troubleshoot, and deploy applications in an enterpriseenvironment involving Jboss, IBM MQ, Active MQ, Life ray portal, CA Site minder, WSO2 API manager
• Experience supporting development and production environments, on-callsupport, Health monitoring
• Goodunderstanding of Architecture, High Availability configurations, Loadbalancing, Fault tolerance, Resiliency, Disaster recovery
• Goodunderstanding of databases such as Oracle and Postgres
• Goodunderstanding of operating system and networking
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communicationskills and a sense of ownership and drive
• The ability to interact and communicate collaboratively at the highesttechnical levels with customers, vendors, partners and all members ofstaff is required. Continual knowledge transfer, training and mentoring ofjunior staff is also expected

Good to have:

Familiarity with logging tools, suchas Graylog, Splunk

Familiarity with monitoring tools, suchas Applications manager, SolarWinds, Prometheus

Knowledge and experience in patching,security remediation, security hardening, threat modeling and pen testing

Proficiency with SQL queries anddatabase technologies involving Oracle, Postgres
