Job Description

The OT Staff is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient functioning of the Operation Theatre by assisting with surgical preparation, patient handling, instruments, infection control, and coordination with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing teams. The includes maintaining sterile environments, preparing equipment, assisting during procedures, and ensuring proper post-procedure activities.

• Prepare the operation theatre before scheduled procedures.
• Ensure availability of required surgical instruments and consumables.
• Check OT equipment and report malfunctioning equipment.
• Assist in preparing patients for surgery.
• Verify patient identity, procedure, and relevant documentation.
• Assist with patient positioning according to surgical requirements.
• Maintain strict sterile and aseptic techniques.
• Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures.
• Provide required instruments and supplies during procedures.
