The OT Scrub Nurse will support operation theatre procedures by preparing sterile instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, assisting surgeons during operations, handling surgical materials, and ensuring smooth OT workflow at Suyog Hospital, Mysore. This requires B.Sc Nursing, GNM, or Diploma in OT with 1–2 years of experience in operation theatre nursing or scrub nurse responsibilities.

• Prepare sterile instruments, surgical sets, sutures, linen, and consumables before surgery.
• Scrub for surgical procedures and assist surgeons during operations.
• Maintain sterile field, aseptic technique, and infection control practices throughout procedures.
• Verify surgical instruments, counts, materials, and procedure requirements before and after surgery.
• Assist in patient positioning, draping, and OT preparation as per protocol.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, OT nurses, CSSD, biomedical, and housekeeping teams.
• Maintain OT documentation, instrument count records, and material usage details.
• Report instrument shortage, equipment malfunction, or consumable requirements to seniors.
• Support emergency OT readiness and urgent surgical case preparation.
• Follow biomedical waste disposal, PPE, hand hygiene, and patient safety standards.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and safe OT workflow.
• Ensure smooth, sterile, and efficient surgical assistance during procedures.
