Job summary

Centilytics is seeking a systems administrator to manage Linux and Windows Server environments, perform OS installations and upgrades, and enforce security hardening. The role involves configuring authentication, patching, troubleshooting, and maintaining web services (Apache, Nginx, IIS) along with storage, monitoring, and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with SSL/web hosting, and exposure to cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 1-2 years of experience in system administration or OS engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE) and Windows Server administration.
• Working knowledge of security hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with web/application services such as Apache, Nginx, IIS, SSH, SFTP, NFS, and XRDP.
• Understanding of SSL certificate implementation and web hosting.
• Proficiency in storage management using LVM, partitioning, and filesystems.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and log rotation tools.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.
