Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and on‑demand OS security scans and document the results.
Set up and manage basic virtual machine environments required for scanning activities.
Use PowerShell to run simple scripts for automation, log collection, or data extraction.
Update and maintain XML configuration files used for scan settings or tool configurations.
Assist in running and monitoring GitHub Actions pipelines related to scan workflows.
Track scan findings and support engineering teams in validating fixes.
Maintain clear documentation for scan procedures, checklists, and reports.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Windows operating system fundamentals and security concepts.
Hands‑on exposure to virtual machines (VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar).
Basic PowerShell knowledge for running or modifying scripts.
Ability to read and update XML files with guidance.
Familiarity with GitHub and basic CI/CD pipeline workflows.
Good documentation skills using Excel and standard templates.
