Job summary

Teamware Solutions is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analyses, and implement Core HR configurations. You will work with onsite leads and offshore teams to deliver designs, tests, and end-to-end configurations aligned with customer requirements.

The role requires strong communication, detailed documentation, and hands-on experience with Fusion HCM Core modules and related tools (Confluence, JIRA).

Qualifications

• Graduation with MBA (HR) or B.Tech/B.E. with Oracle exposure.
• 4+ years of prior experience with functional Oracle HCM implementation.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and documenting business requirements, fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be designs, prototype demos, functional configuration, test scripts, user training.
• Write functional design documents for conversions/interfaces/reports/extensions, perform functional testing and support technical deliverables from offshore.
• Configure Core HR including workflow rules, data security, checklists, and personalization.
• Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams and handle onsite leads/clients.
• Proactively report status updates and issue reports to PM, handle P1/P2 tickets.
• Prepare impact assessments and design documents for upgrades.
• Participate in ER discussions and client interactions.

Job description

Candidates should have prior experience working in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud applications. The candidate should be experienced working with onsite leads and clients to understand and document requirements. Candidate should be proficient in cloud application knowledge to be able to perform fit-gap analysis, configure solution and test it. Candidates must be detail-oriented and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate should have exposure to configure and unit test the Fusion CORE module based on the customer’s requirement.

Responsibility -

• Gathering and documenting business requirements, performing fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, prototype demonstration, functional configuration, develop test scripts, client user training.
• Writing functional design document for conversions/ interfaces/ reports/ extensions, functional testing and support development of technical deliverables from offshore.
• Configuring Core HR solutions include areas which are common across multiple modules such as Workflow approval rules, Data role security, Checklist, Design studio personalization.
• Working with onsite / offshore model having experience in handling onsite leads / clients handling and working with multiple onsite stakeholders/teams.
• Should have strong written and oral communication skills. Proactively share status updates and issue reports to the Project Management on a regular basis.
• Should be proactive in debugging and providing solutions to client for P1/P2 tickets.
• Should be responsible for client facing during ER (Enhancement Request) discussions.
• Should be able to analyze BRD and provide High Level Estimates, prepare Functional / Technical Design Documents, Test Scripts, Evidence of Test Documents and Production Migration Documents for the ERs.
• Should be responsible for preparing impact assessments/analysis for every upgrade.
• Should have complete product knowledge for participating the impact assessment sessions and Deep Dive sessions with client.
• Should be able to perform Regression Testing within the timelines.

Skills –

• Minimum 4 years of full life cycle implementation experience as a Functional Consultant in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud. Core HR with Talent Module and ORC Module expertise. mandatory.
• Functional professional with more than 2 end-to-end ERP implementations in HCM.
• Hands-on experience on the latest release.
• Experience with project delivery tools like Confluence, JIRA.
• Incident Management Tool / Ticketing Tool experience is Plus (Eg. Jira, Service Now) but not mandatory
• Quality Assessment /Quality Check skills is plus but not mandatory
• Hands on experience in writing fast formulas
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills along with high attention to detail.
• Ability to interact independently with onsite leads / client.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Self-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention
• Ability to work within constraints and to challenge the status quo.
• Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature
