Job summary

DNV is seeking an HR IT Applications Specialist to manage and enhance the Oracle HCM Cloud-based HR landscape within the GSS IT Global Application Services framework. You will handle functional and technical support for HR systems, participate in IT projects, and coordinate with HR stakeholders across regions.

The role requires HDL/HDSL data extraction experience, API usage (REST/JSON), and strong English communication skills, with willingness for international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data extraction (OTBI, SQL proficiency) and mass data uploads (HDL/HDSL).
• Experience in configuration, development and maintenance of HR applications: Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Knowledge of HR-IT solutions (e.g. Time and Labor, Ind./ Workforce Compensation, Security, Benefits, ORC) within Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
• Good understanding of end-to-end HR business processes.
• Experience in integrations principles focused on data exchange and payroll data integrations (HCM Extracts).
• Experience with API calls (REST/JSON) and tooling: Eclipse or comparable Java IDE and SoapUI/Postman.
• Experience in standard IT support processes including ticket handling.
• Self-driven with ownership, delivery-focused, multi-task prioritization under tight deadlines.
• Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support and enhance DNV HR applications and participate in GSS IT projects related to HR processes.
• Work with Oracle HCM Cloud and Seertech’s iLearning Plus as global HR system.
• Contribute to stabilizing and improving HR applications and services within GSS IT Global Application Services.

About The Role

The focus for this role will be to manage, support and enhance the DNV HR applications and participate in GSS IT projects related to HR processes ensuring alignment and co-operation with the HR community and the DNV overall system landscape.

DNV is utilizing Oracle HCM Cloud platform including different PaaS services and Seertech’s iLearning Plus as a global HR system. There are large opportunities and possibilities to participate both in the operation and initiatives implementing further modules. Main Tasks Include

• Ensure stable and well performing HR applications & services.
• Responsible for executing functional and technical 2nd level application support for the DNV HR application environment which includes:
• Application analysis and configuration
• Alignment with vendor
• Communication with users
• Ensure alignment of deliveries and services within the GSS IT Global Application Services environment.
• Contribute to HCM release management by regression testing and monitoring the relevant documentations and community platforms.
• Provide consulting services to the HR Business in terms of enhancements / future developments of process- and IT-solutions.
• Execute and manage configuration enhancements and technical changes based on new requirements.
• Participate in projects related to our HR applications and IT systems.

About You

Must have:
