DNV is seeking a Finance/Project Controlling professional in Maharashtra, India to manage invoicing, WIP accruals, and data integrity between iI2 and Oracle. The role requires solid accounting qualifications and 4–5 years of relevant experience.

You will coordinate with the country team for project setups, perform month-end close activities, and support audits and tax queries while driving process improvements.

Qualificações

• Professional Accounting qualifications including Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance.
• 4–5 years of prior working experience in project controlling or finance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and SAP or equivalent systems.
• Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and coordinate financial governance per DNV Inspection business policies & procedures.
• Perform customer invoicing and ensure timely collection of AR balances.
• Create POs for sub-contractors and reconcile with supplier invoices.
• Work with Country team to set up and maintain projects in iI2 and align data with Oracle.
• Assist month-end closing processes and prepare WIP accruals.
• Coordinate with GSS for BA-related closing procedures and audits.
• Respond to audit or tax-related queries and drive process improvements.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• General:
• To maintain and coordinate financial governance per DNV Inspection business policies & procedures
• Project Controlling:
• To perform customer invoicing and ensure timely collection of AR balances
• To create PO for sub-contractors and perform the subsequent matching with the relevant supplier invoices
• To acquire hands‑on experience on Project Controlling & the related modules in Oracle and fully understand their integration with Inspection Production Tool (iI2)
• To work closely with the Country team to ensure accurate set‑up and maintenance of projects in iI2
• To align iI2 data with Oracle for successful integration and troubleshoot issues relating to integration
• Monthly Closing:
• To prepare month end Work-in-Progress (WIP) for accrual
• Liaise with GSS (Global Shared Services) team on all BA (Business Area) related procedures to ensure proper closing process
• Support the project review for the month end close
• Ad-hoc/ Ancillary:
• Assist in responding to queries on audit or tax related issues
• Improvement in day-to-day operation process
• Any other jobs assigned by the Management from time to time

Competency Requirements

• Strong in Advanced Microsoft Excel and related applications
• Good knowledge & hands‑on experience on Oracle/SAP or equivalent system
• High attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships at all levels
• Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks with efficiency and effectiveness

Professional Qualification

• Professional Accounting qualifications including Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance
• Exposure to Project Controlling & Finance analysis is an advantage
• 4 to 5 years of prior working experience in related field
