Position Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) L2/L3 of around 10 years+ of experience to join our dynamic team.

Primary Skill: Oracle

Secondary Skill: PostgreSQL, DB2

Responsibilities:

• Experience in maintaining development, testing and production environments.
• Experience in PostgreSQL, DB2 and Oracle Installation and Configuration, Database Backup and Recovery, SQL Tuning, User maintenance, Tablespace management, Hot Standby and Replication, PITTR and Upgradation.
• Implemented and Configured PostgreSQL Replication for more than one hot Standby and also handled concepts like transferring WAL to standby machines to ensure zero percent data loss.
• Ensure integrity, availability and performance of DB2 database systems by providing technical support and maintenance.
• Experienced in Backup & Recovery Of DB2.
• Experienced in Backup & Recovery using PG_DUMP and PG_DUMPALL, setting up WAL archiving, Point in time recovery.
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database.
• Creation of Clone Database for Development/Testing Environments.
• Creating new cluster and upgrading to cluster to another PostgreSQL server.
• Basic knowledge in adding and deleting Database in a clone in Replication environment.
• Experience in Installation and creating Hot Streaming Replication (Master and Slave).

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Oracle DB.
• Must have hands-on experience on Oracle DB upgrades and migrations.
• Must have experience on Rac Cluster and Golden Gate.
• Should have experience on Performance tuning of Oracle and PostgreSQL DB.
• Should have experience on RMAN Backup and Restore.
• Strong Troubleshooting skills on Oracle DB.
• Strong knowledge of SQL query on Oracle and PostgreSQL DB.
• ITIL v3 Certification will be an added advantage.
• Must have OCP Certification.
• Good communication skills along with being a good team player.
