Job summary

Solugenix is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator in Hyderabad to implement, configure and maintain critical DB servers ensuring high availability and performance for applications. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills and the ability to lead a team in a 24/7 SODC environment.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of database administration experience, with expertise in RMAN, datapump, patching, migrations, OEM Cloud Control, and AWS-related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in database administration, operations and production support.
• Experience with Oracle DB, RMAN, datapump and patching.
• Ability to lead a team and operate in a 24/7 SODC environment.

Responsibilities

• 4+ years experience in database administration, operations and production support.
• Datapump (Export/Import) and RMAN backups/restores.
• Patching of DB and clients; migrations and upgrades.
• Performance tuning and analysis with AWR reports.
• Monitoring, backup/recovery management and provisioning/de-provisioning.
• Knowledge of HA/DRE, patching, replication and upgrades; Cohesity backups.
• Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA and Confluence; document solutions and train teams.
• Experience with AWS; DevOps is a plus; Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.

Shift Timings: Rotational Shifts (24/7)

Work Mode : 5 Days Work from Office (SODC Environment)

Job Summary: The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications. This is a hands‑on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The person should have experience in leading the team.

Role and Responsibilities:

• 4+ Years experience in database administration, operations and production support
• Datapump ( Export and Import) and RMAN Database restores
• Patching activity ( DB and client )
• Database Migration and Database upgrade
• Excellent knowledge in resolving performance tuning issues, Generating & reviewing AWR reports.
• Experience in Monitoring, back up/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Patching, migration, replication and upgrades
• Cohesity backups
• Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
• Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence
• Ability to document solutions and train operational teams
• Experience with Amazon Web Services , DevOps is a plus
• Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control.
