Job summary

Lester Infoservices seeks an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Consultant to design, develop, configure, test, and support Oracle Cloud HCM solutions. You will work across Fast Formula, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, HDL/HSDL, and integrations.

The role requires hands-on implementation experience with multiple Cloud HCM projects and strong knowledge of data structures, reporting and technical architecture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Oracle HCM technical experience including Cloud HCM.
• At least 2–3 Oracle Cloud HCM implementations.
• Hands-on with Fast Formula, HCM Extracts and BI Publisher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test and support technical solutions across Oracle Cloud HCM modules.
• Collaborate with functional teams to implement integrations and data models.
• Lead testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and deployment of OCI HCM solutions.
• Provide troubleshooting and performance tuning for HCM Fast Formulas, extracts and reports.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Fast Formula, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher (BIP), HDL/HSDL, and Oracle HCM integrations. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, and supporting technical solutions across Oracle Cloud HCM modules.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering multiple Oracle Cloud HCM implementations and a strong understanding of HCM data structures, business processes, integrations, reporting, and technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Fast Formula

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot Oracle Cloud HCM Fast Formulas.
• Develop formulas for Payroll, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Benefits, Compensation, and other HCM processes.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into scalable Fast Formula solutions.
• Debug and optimize existing formulas for performance and accuracy.
• Develop formula solutions using appropriate database items, contexts, functions, and variables.
• Support formula-related issues during SIT, UAT, parallel testing, and production.

Oracle HCM Extracts

• Design, configure, develop, and maintain Oracle HCM Extracts.
• Develop extracts for employee, payroll, benefits, compensation, absence, and other HCM data.
• Configure extract records, data groups, attributes, filters, parameters, and delivery options.
• Develop outbound interfaces and files in formats such as CSV, XML, and fixed-width.
• Configure delivery to SFTP, UCM, email, and other supported destinations.
• Troubleshoot extract performance, data issues, and delivery failures.
• Support complex hierarchical and multi-record extract requirements.

BI Publisher

• Design and develop Oracle BI Publisher reports and templates.
• Develop complex SQL queries and data models for HCM reporting requirements.
• Create RTF, Excel, PDF, XML, and other report templates as required.
• Develop bursting reports and configure report delivery.
• Build reports for Payroll, HR, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Time and Labor, and other HCM areas.
• Troubleshoot report performance, data accuracy, formatting, and scheduling issues.
• Work with OTBI and other Oracle reporting technologies where required.

HCM Integrations & Technical Development

• Develop and support Oracle Cloud HCM integrations using HCM Extracts, HDL, HSDL, REST/SOAP APIs, and other integration technologies.
• Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and create technical solutions.
• Participate in integration design, technical specifications, development, unit testing, SIT, UAT, and deployment.
• Support data conversion and migration activities using HDL/HSDL.
• Analyze integration errors and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Ensure technical solutions follow Oracle Cloud HCM best practices.
