Copeland India Private Ltd. is seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to support production, stage, and development Oracle EBS in a 24x7 shift model.

You will handle installation, configuration, upgrades, administration, monitoring, and patching of Oracle EBS, reviewing databases for performance bottlenecks and ensuring daily production health checks. The role requires hands-on experience with Oracle databases, EBS architecture, OEM, ServiceNow, and cloud provisioning on Azure.

• Tune performance of large EBS environments and manage data guard, RMAN backups.

Position Overview

Looking for Oracle Apps DBA with 5-8 years of relevant experience. Candidate is required to support Production/ Stage/ Development Oracle EBS in 24*7 shift support model. The Oracle APPS DBA will be responsible for installation, configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, Patching, Backup and restore of Oracle EBS. Would be responsible for reviewing application/databases, identify performance bottlenecks and fixing along with daily production health checks.

Responsibilities

• Performing Daily health checks for production environment, identifying the performance bottlenecks and working on to fix them.
• Hands on experience for handling 26ai database to support day to day operations
• Perform regular DBA support using tools like ServiceNow/Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Knowledge on resource provisioning on Azure Cloud and setting up monitoring alerts.
• Providing technical inputs towards maintaining large complex production environment.
• Perform Capacity planning for instances and growth.
• Good knowledge in latest versions of Oracle database/E Business suite architecture and components (26ai, 19c, 12.2 EBS, etc.)
• Knowledge of Oracle security basics, and experience in working with ISO and Auditing along with OKV.
• Managing SQL server databases will be add on.
• Experience in all routine DBA tasks including health checks, troubleshooting issues and installations.
• Knowledge of traces, tkprof and find poorly performing SQL.sql, profiling, rewrite poorly performing SQL.
• Knowledge of Load balancing, PCP, Configurators and Oacores
• SOA gateway, ekanban and ECC knowledge is add on.
• Knowledge of oracle database wait events, Database and Application parameters
• Ability to fine tune the concurrent processing in large EBS environment.
• Good knowledge of OEM.
• Install, upgrade, patch and administer the EBusiness application and database.
• Experience with Oracle data guard.
• Experience in RMAN backup & restore activities
• Knowledge of OS parameters and settings, UNIX shell scripting,
• Performing (DB + Application) Patch Analysis & Applying Patches.
