Copeland is seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to manage Oracle EBS environments, perform installation, patching, RMAN backups, and maintain production health. The role requires hands-on experience with OEM, Azure cloud, and security controls.

The candidate will work in a 24x7 support model, ensuring high availability of critical ERP systems and related databases, with emphasis on performance, stability, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Oracle Apps DBA experience in Oracle EBS environments.
• Experience with installation, configuration, patching, and RMAN backup/restore.
• Knowledge of Oracle security, auditing, and ISO compliance.

Responsibilities

• Daily health checks and performance bottleneck resolution in production.

Looking for Oracle Apps DBA with 5-8 years of relevant experience. Candidate is required to support Production/ Stage/ Development Oracle EBS in 24*7 shift support model. The Oracle APPS DBA will be responsible for installation, configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, Patching, Backup and restore of Oracle EBS. Would be responsible for reviewing application/databases, identify performance bottlenecks and fixing along with daily production health checks.

Responsibilities

• Performing Daily health checks for production environment, identifying the performance bottlenecks and working on to fix them.
• Hands on experience for handling 26ai database to support day to day operations
• Perform regular DBA support using tools like ServiceNow/Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Knowledge on resource provisioning on Azure Cloud and setting up monitoring alerts.
• Providing technical inputs towards maintaining large complex production environment.
• Perform Capacity planning for instances and growth.
• Good knowledge in latest versions of Oracle database/E Business suite architecture and components (26ai, 19c, 12.2 EBS, etc.)
• Knowledge of Oracle security basics, and experience in working with ISO and Auditing along with OKV.
• Managing SQL server databases will be add on.
• Experience in all routine DBA tasks including health checks, troubleshooting issues and installations.
• Knowledge of traces, tkprof and find poorly performing SQL.sql, profiling, rewrite poorly performing SQL.
• Knowledge of Load balancing, PCP, Configurators and Oacores
• SOA gateway, ekanban and ECC knowledge is add on.
• Knowledge of oracle database wait events, Database and Application parameters
• Ability to fine tune the concurrent processing in large EBS environment.
• Good knowledge of OEM.
• Install, upgrade, patch and administer the EBusiness application and database.
• Experience with Oracle data guard.
• Experience in RMAN backup & restore activities
• Knowledge of OS parameters and settings, UNIX shell scripting,
• Performing (DB + Application) Patch Analysis & Applying Patches.
