Job summary

Copeland India Private Ltd. in Pune seeks an aspiring Diploma holder in Mechanical/Automobile/Production engineering to support BOM creation, review engineering change orders, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely BOM completion.

You will generate project documents and drawings, contribute to the design and arrangement drawings, and gain exposure to PLM systems like Teamcenter and Oracle Engineering in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Production engineering is required.
• Experience with BOM creation, changes, and parts release processes.
• Familiarity with PLM systems and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating, developing, and managing BOM elements accurately and on time, while supporting parts release and engineering changes.
• Review Engineering change orders and update BOMs as necessary.
• Interact across departments to ensure timely, efficient BOM completion.
• Ensure all BOM parts are correctly set up in BOM markup.
• Generate engineering project documents and drawings.
• Ensure completeness of basic design and arrangement drawings.
• Experience with refrigeration scroll, semi-hermetic compressors, BOMs in manufacturing.
• Understand PLM (Teamcenter), Oracle Engineering and change management.
• Strong Excel/Word skills and analytical tools capability.
• Self-motivated, proactive team player capable of meeting tight deadlines.

Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Production engineering

• Responsible for creating, developing, and managing elements of the Bill of Materials (BOM) in an accurate, timely manner whilst supporting the parts release and engineering change processes.
• Review Engineering change orders and update BOM’s as necessary.
• Responsible for having a high level of interaction across all departments to ensure the completion of the bill of materials in a timely, efficient, and detailed manner.
• Ensure all parts contained in the BOM are correctly set up and structured in the BOM markup
• Generate Engineering Project documents and Drawings
• Completeness of project basic design and Arrangement Drawing
• Experience in refrigeration scroll, semi hermetic compressors, refrigeration units BOM and manufacturing environments.
• Good Understanding of PLM, Teamcenter, Oracle Engineering, change management process.
• Excellent understanding of Engineering Bill of Materials High level of competence with Microsoft Excel, word, and analytical tools
• Self-motivated, proactive team player able to successfully cope with tight deadlines whilst ensuring quality of performance.
