Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical engineering.
  • 2–3 years of software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET technologies.
  • Experience with desktop apps using WinUI, WPF, or similar frameworks.
  • MVVM architecture and software design principles.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
  • Experience with OOP concepts and best practices.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and debugging software applications.
  • Familiarity with source control systems like Git or Azure DevOps.

Based in our Pune, India location, you will develop and support software applications used for industrial equipment monitoring, testing, data acquisition, analytics, and engineering workflows. Working under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, you will contribute to software solutions that interact with PLC-driven systems, industrial data platforms, databases, and enterprise applications while gaining exposure to digitalization, Industrial IoT (IIoT), and modern software technologies.



AS AN INDUSTRIAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER, YOU WILL:


  • Develop, test, and maintain desktop software applications using Microsoft technologies.

  • Design and implement user interfaces, business logic, and reusable software components following MVVM and software engineering best practices.

  • Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.

  • Develop software solutions that collect, process, visualize, and manage data from industrial and engineering systems.

  • Support integration between software applications, databases, APIs, and industrial data platforms.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualization solutions for engineering and operational teams.

  • Troubleshoot application and database issues to ensure reliable system operation.

  • Collaborate with software, controls, electrical, test, and product engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

  • Support modernization initiatives involving user experience improvements, software enhancements, and future web-based applications.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and development artifacts.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.



REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 2 to 3 years of software development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET technologies.

  • Experience developing desktop applications using WinUI, WPF, or similar frameworks.

  • Working knowledge of MVVM architecture and software design principles.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.

  • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and software development best practices.

  • Experience writing SQL queries and troubleshooting software applications.

  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
