Role Description

The Optometrist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sanchore. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, diagnosis of common visual conditions, and prescription of glasses or contact lenses. Daily responsibilities include assessing patient history, conducting clinical tests, documenting findings, and collaborating with ophthalmologists and other clinical staff on patient care plans. The role also involves educating patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options, as well as supporting pre- and post-operative assessments when required. The Optometrist is expected to maintain accurate records, follow clinical protocols, and contribute to a positive and respectful care environment.
