Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based at Drikveda Eye Hospital in Bengaluru. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, binocular vision assessment, and evaluation of ocular health, and will assist in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions under the guidance of ophthalmologists. Responsibilities include prescribing and fitting spectacles and contact lenses, conducting pre- and post-operative assessments, and supporting specialty clinics such as pediatric, glaucoma, or retina as needed. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety protocols, and using diagnostic equipment and technology effectively. The Optometrist will collaborate with the clinical team to provide patient education, build trust through clear communication, and contribute to a high standard of ethical, patient-first care.
