Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
• Check visual acuity, refraction, and eye coordination
• Detect and manage refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia)
• Screen for eye diseases like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataract, and amblyopia
• Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses, and vision therapy where required
• Assist ophthalmologists in pre- and post-operative patient care
• Perform diagnostic tests (IOP, fundus photography, OCT, visual fields, etc.)
• Educate patients on eye health, hygiene, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical protocols

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in optometry or equivalent qualifications.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or eye care setting is a plus.
