• Assist ophthalmologists in pre- and post-operative care for surgeries like cataract and LASIK.
• Conduct contact lens fittings and train users on lens care.
• Perform tonometry and fundus exams to screen glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
• Provide low-vision aid assessments and recommend aids.
• Perform visual field testing (perimetry), OCT, and corneal topography when required.
• Participate in outdoor and indoor eye check-up camps.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Perform vision tests and refraction to determine corrective lens prescriptions.
• Conduct slit lamp examinations to detect eye abnormalities.
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions like refractive errors, dry eyes, and binocular vision problems.
• Assist ophthalmologists in the pre - and post-operative care of patients undergoing eye surgeries like cataracts and LASIK.
• Conduct contact lens fittings and provide training on lens usage and care.
• Perform tonometry and fundus examinations to screen for diseases like glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
• Provide low vision aid assessments and recommend appropriate visual aids.
