Job summary

CERATIZIT India invites skilled tool and cutter grinders to join a dynamic, quality-focused team in Bengaluru. You will operate CNC and conventional grinding equipment to produce and recondition cutting tools, ensuring accuracy and surface finish per drawings.

With 2–5 years of tool grinding experience, you will read engineering drawings, select appropriate grinding parameters, and maintain tool quality while adhering to safety and process standards. Training and development are offered.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in mechanical engineering required.
• 2–5 years of experience in tool and cutter grinding.
• Knowledge of tool geometry and cutting tool applications.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with CNC and conventional tool grinding machines.
• Understanding of grinding wheels and dressing techniques.
• Good problem-solving and quality-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate tool and cutter grinding machines to manufacture and recondition cutting tools.
• Grind end mills, drills, reamers, form tools, PCD pocket, and special cutting tools as per drawings.
• Set up and adjust grinding machine parameters to achieve required dimensions and surface finish.
• Inspect tools using measuring instruments such as micrometres, verniers, profile projectors, and gauges.
• Maintain tool quality and adhere to specified tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping activities.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
