Plansee Group's CERATIZIT India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced technical sales professional to visit machine shops and auto ancillary customers daily, providing application support for Turning, Milling, Drilling, Reaming and Threading.

You will conduct tooling trials, recommend cutting parameters for MS, SS, Cast Iron, EN8 and EN31, and prepare techno-commercial quotations. Join a dynamic international team offering extensive training and opportunities to work on advanced CNC cutting tool

Formación

• 5 to 8 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development in tooling/metalworking.
• Strong knowledge of turning, milling, drilling, reaming and threading.
• Familiarity with CNC operations and tool selection.

Responsabilidades

• Visit 4-5 machine shops and auto ancillary customers daily to generate business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
• Provide application support for Turning, Milling, Drilling, Reaming and Threading operations.
• Conduct tooling trials and demonstrate productivity and tool life improvements.
• Prepare techno-commercial quotations including tool grade, coating, pricing and life comparisons.
• Follow up on customer payments and ensure timely collection within credit period.
• Identify customer machining challenges and recommend tooling solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Engage with multiple levels to build brand value and rapport amongst stakeholders at customer organizations.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visit 4-5 machine shops, CNC shops, and auto ancillary customers daily to generate business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
• Provide application support for Turning, Milling, Drilling, Reaming, and Threading operations.
• Conduct tooling trials using CNMG, DNMG, WNMG, CCMT, and other cutting tools to demonstrate productivity and tool life improvements.
• Recommend optimal cutting parameters (Speed, Feed, and DOC) for materials such as MS, SS, Cast Iron, EN8, and EN31.
• Prepare techno-commercial quotations including tool grade, coating, pricing, and tool life comparisons.
• Follow up on customer payments and ensure timely collection of receivables within the agreed credit period.
• Identify customer machining challenges and recommend suitable tooling solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Engage at multiple levels and build brand value and rapport amongst key stakeholders at customer organizations.

PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS

• BE in Mechanical Engineering, B Tech, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development within the cutting tools, tooling, metalworking, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of machine processes such as Turning, Milling, Drilling, Reaming, and Threading.
• Good understanding of Solid Carbide Tools, Indexable Cutting Tools, Carbide Rods, Inserts, and Special Purpose Tools.
• Ability to identify customer machining challenges and recommend suitable tooling solutions to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
• Familiarity with CNC machining operations, cutting parameters, tool selection, cycle-time optimization, and process improvements.
