Job summary

VINSAK in Gurgaon is seeking an experienced Inkjet Operator to set up and run industrial DOD inkjet systems on the production floor, with focus on high-speed variable data printing.

You will calibrate printheads, manage inks and UV curing units, perform routine maintenance, and ensure inline vision inspection compliance with zero code discrepancies.

Diploma or ITI in Printing/Packaging, and 2+ years of hands-on experience with inkjet or digital presses are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Printing Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, or Packaging Technology; ITI or relevant vocational qualification will also be considered.
• 2+ years of hands-on operating experience with industrial inkjet systems (piezoelectric DOD or TIJ), digital presses, or flexo web lines.
• Experience with inline vision inspection and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and operate VINSAK DOD inkjet systems for production.
• Prepare VDP files by importing and mapping variable data, configuring layouts, and checking data accuracy to avoid duplicate, missing, or misaligned codes.
• Monitor and manage inks/fluids, UV LED curing units, and carry out routine printhead cleaning and maintenance.
• Maintain required cleanroom and print room standards during production.
• Set up and calibrate inline vision camera systems, monitor error logs, and manage automated reject systems for defective or unreadable codes.
• Inspect finished rolls or sheets for barcode quality, contrast, edge sharpness, and scuff resistance.

Position Summary

The DOD Inkjet Operator is responsible for setting up, calibrating, operating, and maintaining industrial Drop-on-Demand (DOD) inkjet systems integrated across slitter rewinder. The role focuses on executing high-speed Variable Data Printing (VDP)—including serialized barcodes, 2D Data Matrix, dynamic QR codes—while ensuring 100% inline vision inspection compliance and zero database discrepancy.

Location
