As a key member of our operations team, you will lead merchant acquisition efforts for our consumer lending business. Working closely with the founding team, business development, and product teams, you’ll be responsible for building strong merchant partnerships that drive adoption of our security-backed credit solutions. Your work will directly influence growth, revenue, and the overall success of our fintech platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

Driving merchant onboarding for our consumer lending products across target categories and geographies
Identifying, approaching, and closing partnerships with high-potential merchants and brands
Building scalable processes for merchant acquisition, documentation, and integration
Coordinating with the product and tech teams to ensure smooth merchant integration and training
Tracking performance of onboarded merchants, identifying issues, and driving improvements
Managing relationships with key merchants to ensure long-term engagement and growth
Staying up to date with lending industry trends, merchant financing models, and BNPL/credit innovations

Who You Are

Previous experience in merchant acquisition, partnerships, business development, or operations (experience in fintech, lending, or payments preferred)
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams — product, tech, compliance, and sales — to deliver results
Familiarity with merchant payment systems, lending products, or POS financing
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a bias towards execution
Data-driven mindset with the ability to track KPIs and optimize acquisition processes
Educational background in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
