Job summary

Eurofragance seeks an Operations Manager to sustain production continuity and lead regional operations. You will supervise factory personnel, drive efficiency, and implement process improvements across safety, quality and logistics.

English and Hindi fluency, and 5–10 years in industrial settings, with experience in international companies, are essential. SAP S/4HANA exposure highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in a similar role within industrial environments, preferably factory setting.
• Strong background in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and machinery operations; Six Sigma training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee factory personnel to ensure maximum efficiency and team alignment.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Maintenance and Plant Engineering.
• Coordinate with Production Planning to align operations with current and future demand.
• Maintain safety and promote a positive safety culture across the plant.
• Conduct investigations of non-conformities and perform internal audits for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Lead quality and safety walks, guiding Production Coordination towards high standards.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication across teams and departments.
• Partner with Purchasing and Logistics leaders to execute agreed strategies.

What's your mission?

As the Operations Manager, your mission will be to provide comprehensive support, ensuring the continuity and efficiency of production operations and leading the Operations teams in the Region.

Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day

• Operational Management: Supervise factory personnel, ensuring maximum efficiency and team commitment.

• Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives in close collaboration with the Maintenance and Plant Engineering departments.

• Planning: Maintain smooth communication with the Production Planning Department to align operations with current and future customer demands.

• Safety and Organizational Culture: Foster a safe working environment and actively promote a positive cultural change, prioritizing safety in all factory activities.

• Quality Management: Conduct detailed investigations and analyses of non-conformities, both internal and external, and perform internal audits to ensure continuous process improvement.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, establishing a standard of excellence in work practices.

• Leadership in Quality and Safety: Actively participate in Quality & Safety Walks, providing guidance and support to Production Coordination to achieve the highest standards of quality and safety.

• Work Climate and Corporate Values: Promote a positive work climate based on collaboration, effective communication, and coordination, aligned with the company's values and principles.

• Execution of Purchasing and Logistics Activities: Act as the key contact for the Purchasing Director, Supply Chain Manager and Logistic Manager at HQ, co-leading operations and executing agreed strategies.

What you need to shine in this role

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in a similar role within industrial environments, ideally in a factory setting.
• Strong background in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and machinery operations. Six Sigma training.
• Experience working with international companies.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (MM, PP, Logistics, and Customer Service modules).
