Eurofragance SLU in Mumbai seeks a Senior Fragrance Development Manager – Fine Fragrance to lead local fragrance projects and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Perfumers and global HQ teams to grow the Indian portfolio.

The role focuses on defining fragrance strategies, managing development end-to-end, and driving business growth in the Indian market. Fluency in English and Hindi is required, with a degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or Perfumery and 10+ years of experience.

• Experience working closely with Perfumers and cross-functional global teams.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Lead fine fragrance development projects aligned with client briefs, category strategy and commercial objectives.
• Evaluate fragrance developments and contribute to collection and concept build-up with FDM team and Perfumers.
• Create, maintain, and upgrade the local fine fragrance library with HQ.
• Guide and support Perfumers during developments for optimal fragrance outcomes.
• Recommend fragrance submissions best adapted to brief parameters and market needs.
• Develop knowledge of competitive market products across fine fragrance segments.
• Detect trends and translate insights into fragrance solutions with Marketing.
• Manage fragrance development projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines and quality.
• Lead proactive fragrance initiatives supporting portfolio development and innovation.
• Participate in fragrance presentations to clients with Sales teams.
• Develop deep olfactive and market understanding of Indian fine fragrance landscape.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Creation & Development, Innovation & Technology, and Regulatory teams.

The Senior Fragrance Development Manager – Fine Fragrance is responsible for leading and managing fine fragrance development projects, both proactive and reactive, in response to client briefs and strategic market opportunities. The role works in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Perfumers, and global HQ teams to define and implement fragrance strategies that strengthen the local fine fragrance portfolio and drive business growth, with a strong focus on the Indian market.

Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day

• Lead fine fragrance development projects aligned with client briefs, category strategy, and commercial objectives.
• Evaluate fragrance developments and contribute to collection and concept build-up in partnership with FDM team and Perfumers.
• Create, maintain, and continuously upgrade the local fine fragrance library in collaboration with HQ teams.
• Guide and support Perfumers during developments to ensure optimal fragrance outcomes, where required.
• Recommend fragrance submissions best adapted to brief parameters, market needs, and olfactive direction.
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of competitive market products across relevant fine fragrance segments.
• Detect emerging olfactive trends and consumer preferences, working closely with Marketing to translate insights into fragrance solutions.
• Manage fragrance development projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines, quality, and internal alignment.
• Lead and contribute to proactive fragrance initiatives supporting portfolio development and innovation.
• Participate in and lead fragrance presentations to clients together with Sales teams.
• Develop deep olfactive and market understanding of the Indian fine fragrance landscape in key categories.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Creation & Development, Innovation & Technology, and Regulatory teams.

What You Need To Shine In This Role

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Perfumery
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Fragrance Development, with strong exposure to the Fine Fragrance category
• Proven experience working closely with Perfumers and cross-functional global teams
• Fluent in English and Hindi
