Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the operations of 8 outlets across Kolkata.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and tech-savvy Operations professional to manage and monitor the day-to-day operations of a cluster of 8 food outlets across Kolkata.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in the Food & Restaurant industry and an in-depth understanding of Petpooja, food costing, inventory, wastage control, Zomato/Swiggy operations, and kitchen management.

The candidate should be comfortable travelling across different Kolkata outlets and working closely with outlet managers, kitchen teams, and other operational staff to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the operations of 8 outlets across Kolkata.

• Regularly visit outlets to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.

• Monitor outlet performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards.

• Have strong working knowledge of Petpooja POS and utilize it effectively for operational monitoring and reporting.

• Monitor food cost, recipe costing, inventory, wastage, and stock consumption.

• Identify and control unnecessary food wastage and operational leakages.

• Monitor Zomato and Swiggy operations, including order flow, cancellations, online availability, menu updates, and platform-related issues.

• Coordinate closely with kitchen teams to ensure proper food preparation, portion control, hygiene, and operational efficiency.

• Analyse outlet-level sales and operational reports and identify areas for improvement.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with outlet teams to ensure optimum stock availability.

• Ensure proper implementation of SOPs across all outlets.

• Identify operational issues and take quick corrective action.

• Coordinate with outlet managers, kitchen staff, vendors, and management.

• Train and guide outlet teams wherever required.

• Prepare regular operational reports and provide management with actionable insights.

• Ensure all outlets maintain consistent standards of service, food quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in Restaurant / QSR / Café / Food & Beverage Operations.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Petpooja POS is mandatory.

• Candidates must understand food cost, food costing, inventory, wastage, and stock management.

• Good understanding of Zomato & Swiggy restaurant operations.

• Practical understanding of kitchen operations and restaurant workflows.

• Experience managing multiple outlets / cluster operations will be highly preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable working with operational data and technology.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Must be flexible and willing to travel across different Kolkata locations regularly.

• Should be proactive, responsible, and capable of independently handling operational challenges.
