Job summary

AdaniConneX is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee critical data center infrastructure in Hyderabad, India. The role focuses on reliability, uptime, and efficiency of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems while ensuring SLA adherence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing UPS, switchgear, PDUs, DG sets, chillers, and pumps, ensuring safety compliance, leading shift teams, and driving improvements to uptime and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field required.
• 6-10 years of experience in Data Center / Critical Infrastructure Operations.
• Strong expertise in electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations of electrical systems including UPS, switchgear, and PDUs.
• Oversee mechanical systems such as chillers, pumps, and HVAC for optimal performance.
• Ensure uptime and proper functioning of DG sets, fuel systems, and firefighting systems.
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards, safety norms, and SLA commitments.
• Maintain documentation, audits, and compliance reporting.
• Lead and supervise shift teams, ensuring smooth handovers and continuity.
• Monitor control room activities and respond to incidents proactively.
• Handle incident reporting, RCA, and resolution within defined timelines.
• Drive uptime improvement initiatives and reduce downtime.
• Manage vendors for maintenance, contracts, and service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee site billing and cost tracking; support budgeting and capacity planning.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
