Job summary

A.P. Moller Maersk is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Leader to oversee day-to-day activities, ensure stock availability and drive efficiency across the facility.

You will manage cold chain processes, vendor relations, and KPI reporting while ensuring SOP compliance and timely billing in SAP.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or related field.
• 6–8 years in warehouse or logistics operations, FMCG or fresh foods preferred.
• Experience with cold chain operations and high-volume warehouses.
• Strong inventory, process, and vendor coordination knowledge.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for billing and ops.
• Proven leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including sorting, grading, transformation, and dispatch of products. Ensure timely delivery and stock availability for all dark stores. Manage complete warehouse operations including cold chain processes while ensuring quality standards and SOP compliance within defined cut-off timelines.
• Inventory Management: Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain proper stock control processes. Monitor stock levels and share daily stock audit reports with relevant stakeholders. Ensure timely identification and liquidation of damaged and expired inventory as per SOP and customer SLA.
• Vendor Resource Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely availability of operational resources such as contract associates, security personnel, and transportation facilities. Monitor vendor performance and ensure service delivery as per agreed requirements.
• Process Efficiency Cost Control: Track productivity across warehouse processes and implement improvements to minimize operational waste. Manage operational efficiency to control variable costs and improve process performance.
• Reporting Compliance: Ensure daily KPIs agreed with customers are achieved and present operational performance reports during daily review meetings. Ensure timely processing of vendor bills as per PR/PO process in SAP and maintain proper documentation.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in FMCG, grocery, or fresh produce supply chains.
