Job summary

Sany Renewable Energy Co., Ltd is seeking a seasoned service proposals lead to support customers and the sales team with a comprehensive service portfolio and plans. You will own the end-to-end preparation of service proposals, liaising with multidisciplinary teams to secure results and build strong customer relationships.

You will drive contract negotiations, standardize proposals and pricing, and coordinate with regional projects units to ensure efficient execution and a continuous feedback

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in service/maintenance.
• Experience with WTG OEM or renewable IPP preferred.
• Diploma Mechanical or higher.
• Knowledge of the assigned region or customers.
• Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather.
• Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customer and sales by presenting Sany service portfolio and service plans (region/country/project-level) incl. business model, training, recruitment, spare parts, inspection, maintenance, transportation & crane, warehousing, Q-EHS plan.
• Lead the stratification, planning and preparation of service proposals with cross-functional teams to obtain required results.
• Build favourable customer relationships, map key decision makers & influencers, and enhance confidence in Sany.
• Own the service part’s analysis of customer inquiries and RFPs/tenders, communicating clarifications and deviations timely.
• Initiate internal approvals for service risks and opportunities with leadership sign-offs.
• Write service proposals, official offerings, contractual schedules, ensuring quality and professionalism.
• Participate and lead contract negotiations for the service part and close deals professionally.
• Drive standardization, digitalization and optimization of service proposal work (scope, exclusions, availability, templates).
• Standardize OPEX costing and pricing model, database maintenance.
• Coordinate with regional Projects & Services to ensure execution and feedback loop.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide support towards customer and sales team by presenting Sany service portfolio, and service plan (region/country/project-level) incl. business model, training plan, recruitment plan, spare parts plan, inspection plan, scheduled maintenance, transportation & crane plan, warehousing plan, Q-EHS plan etc.
2. Be the overall owner (focal point), lead the stratification, planning and preparation of service proposals, including close liaison with all necessary multidisciplinary teams internally and externally and inspire all relevant resources to obtain the required results.
3. Take part in building favourable customer relationships, mapping key decision makers & influencers, and enhancing confidence/bankability of Sany in customer's organization.
4. Overall owner (go-to person) of the service part's analysis of customer's inquiries and RFP/tenders, including timely communication with customer if any clarification and deviations such as scope of services, availability requirements, business model, DoR etc.
5. Initiate and follow through internal report & approval processes for all service risks and opportunities, and secure the sign-offs from leadership team.
6. Writer of the service proposals, in terms of official service offering and service strategy, contractual schedules, and ensure the quality, integrity, professionalism of the proposal.
7. Participate and lead the contract negotiation for the service part of the contract, and be able to close the deal in a customer-servicing, efficient, professional fashion.
8. Take initiative for standardization, digitalization and optimization of the service proposal works incl. scope of services, excluded & additional services, availability warranty (time-/energy-based), division of responsibilities, service & availability contract templates and schedules.
9. OPEX costing and pricing model standardization incl. database maintenance.
10. Close liaison with regional Projects & Services team who’s responsible for execution, and create a continuous Corrective Feedback Loop.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience in the field of service / Maintenance. Preferably from WTG OEM or renewable IPP side, alternatively from other industrial sectors.
2. Education: Diploma Mechanical or degree and above.
3. Knowledge: Knowledge of the assigned region or customers: The stronger the better.
4. Ability: Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions.
5. Skill: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external service providers.
6. Language: English, Hindi.
